The Griso Hotel in Malgrate held a wine tasting and jazz evening featuring wines from Valdobbiadene and Franciacorta, and a buffet selection catered by the Lecco restaurant Aromi accompanied by classic jazz melodies by Allesandra Pozzi and Marco Giussiani.
LAKE COMO LUXURY TOURS
I was there celebrating a birthday with a dear friend and a great group of gals. The blogger in me couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take some pictures. I was so impressed by the location, I thought the LakeComoStyle.com readers would like to know about this new stylish place.
The event was hosted on the newly inaugurated Griso Terrace overlooking Lake Como with views of the Lecco shore. The terrace is made of wood decking featuring a hot tub in the center. Guests of the hotel can relax in the hot tub looking out to the lights of the city across the lake. The terrace is for guests, but they occasionally hold events and rent it for private parties.
The bubbles served were Prosecco and Francicorta wines. A variety of Extra dry, Brut and Cartizze Prosecco from Azienda Agricola Zucchetto of the Valdobbiadene region and both Brut and Saten sparkles from Cascina San Pietro of the Franciacorta region. The food buffet was prepared by the innovative Aromi restaurant offering both meat and fish dishes as well as fresh oysters.
Although a bit hazy, we were quite lucky with the weather and it was a great way to celebrate with friends and end the summer season with a cin-cin!
