This is by far the best view of the lake and one of the most relaxing places for a meal. It truly is a magical place. You can go for a coffee, a quick business lunch, a drink or dinner.
The Canotieri Rowing Club of Lecco is a membership club, but if you call in advance to make a reservation at the restaurant they will accommodate you as best as possible.

Bar Centrale is one of our favourite hang-outs. It�s right in the center of town and you can�t resist the window display of yummy pasteries.

Good quality and fair prices. Good for meat and fish. All breads, pizza and past are all homemade. The decor is “artistic pub style” and in the summer there is great outdoor dining in the garden along the river. Try the Risotto al pesce persico (fresh perch with risotto) or the Spezzatino con polenta (stewed meat and polenta).

Lecco�s only authentic Nepalese restaurant located in Pescarenico near the church. Walking in to the gate you enter a simple patio garden lit with torches to guide you through the courtyard to the entrance where warm light and red walls envelope you and welcome you in. A friendly face is always waiting to accompany you to your table. The furniture and art was done by Milanese artist and adds to the warm atmosphere. There is a separate small dining area with low tables and cushions for casual dining. You can choose from a wide selection of traditional dishes or a pre-selected menu to try a little of everything. Kathmandu is recommended for the cuisine connoisseur or if it is your first time trying Nepalese food, you won�t be disappointed.

Although Il Giardino is not in the center of town, it is well worth the taxi ride or 25 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. A traditional restaurant run by the Sesana family, the minute you walk in the door Laura or another member of the family will meet you with a smile. You can smell the homemade cooking and hear the busy sounds of the kitchen. The head chef, Paolo Sesana, a.k.a �Padella� (Sauce pan) decides the menu daily. You shouldn’t leave Lecco without trying his best dishes on the menu; Polenta e Stinco (Corn meal and Pork roast), Gnocchi di Zucca (Pumpkin and potato pasta) and fabulous homemade desserts and cakes, as well as a variety of seasonal specials made of fresh, locally grown produce, meats, cheeses and regional wines.
